Bad Wolf
That Heil front page ought to be the maddest one of the day but shockingly it isn't - Surely a majority of Scottish people can see that we need to escape from those loons asap?
Jambomo
I wonder what they think getting Brexit done actually is? He didn’t win the referendum himself and we pretty much just fell out of Europe by reaching the exit date without agreeing any kind of deals with anyone either in the EU or out of it. He actually didn’t DO or achieve anything.

The character breaks the mould in terms of leftist thinking. He’s like the unreformed type before all the crazy, ideological stuff came into play. -

williemillersmoustache
God wasn't it terrible back in 2018 when we didn't have freedom? All the eulogising from his acolytes is going to look terrible when they blame everything on him at the various enquiries.
Dan Steele
Imagine the scenes if the leader who refused to leave immediately after resignations on that scale and who demanded to stay on as leader was happening in any other democratic country. The fall of the UK into a (bigger) world laughing stock is just one independence referendum away. Unless it's a No vote, then that'll probably be us.

Sturgeon would be getting compared to a dictator and Scotland a one party nation… I mean they do that anyways but still you know what the reaction would be like
williemillersmoustache
The only reason we aren't in a January 6th situation with the Countryside Alliance and the Rangers/Millwall/Chelsea Intercity firms storming Whitehall is that he's genuinely unpopular. Even the most rabid of his tory party familiars know he's less popular than syphilis.
BFTD
I guess the Express like the nebulous, American definition of "freedom", which seems to essentially amount to minimising the responsibilities of the wealthy towards the rest of society, furiously cheerleaded by people who can barely afford to eat.

Forelock tugging shitebags you mean? Oh, wait, wasn't that us in 2014?

I suppose it is just a throwback to the old days of, "my kids may be dying of malnutrition, but at least His/Her Majesty is doing OK, which is the important thing". Can you imagine how the rich and powerful talk about the proles in private? Humanity must genuinely seem like cattle to them.

BTW, it's the venom in the hack's voice that sells the Dorries question above. Deep down, I think we all know that Britain's Top Bareback Shagger wouldn't be seen dead hanging out of a retirement-age working-class woman, which makes her doe-eyes all the more pathetic.
