senorsoupe
In all seriousness, some of the German teams spring to mind. I mean who are the main rivals of teams like Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg?

Over time we've had some weak ribaldry with Meadowbank, Livingston, Edinburgh City and Gala. Border TV once billed Berwick-Stranraer as "the Borders derby" .
Brummie Clyde
Watford, Reading, Bournemouth, Middlesbrough, Coventry.Leicester arguably too, as Forest and Derby care more about each other.
invergowrie arab
Depends. Our biggest rivalry is Dundee again but from the mid 90s for about 20 years folk my age saw Aberdeen as the biggest rivalry. Probably post-dating the New Firm nonsense and more to do with Dundee barely being in the top league.

Am Featha Taigh Nan Clach
In all seriousness, some of the German teams spring to mind. I mean who are the main rivals of teams like Hoffenheim and Wolfsburg? In Germany, there's a tendency to have only one big club per city. The 18 Bundesliga clubs play in 17 different cities.

Cosmic Joe
Stranraer v Queen of the South was always a strange one. In the same county but some distance apart...

Fair enough. Have they even got enough fans left to create a ‘rivalry’ with anyone? Even just thinking about it is making me nod off

The hatred was always much more than that with Oxford/Swindon etc. There are still older Reading fans that laugh at the ineptitude of (our) Aldershot to this day.

With Wolfsburg its probably Hannover or Braunschweig, though again neither are in the Bundesliga. Though for these rivalries you're talking about the distance from Edinburgh to Glasgow covering the clubs.
pozbaird
Some St Mirren fans seem to regard games against Kilmarnock as a derby, over games against Morton. I don’t get it, surely Killie’s rivals are Ayr United, and therefore there’s an Ayrshire derby in Killie v Ayr, and a Renfrewshire derby in St Mirren v Morton.
