btb
One of the funnier things about PA being deroyaled is the briefings being deployed against him, after the story about him & his teddybears comes another about him & Chuck (who doesn't come out of it looking good either!) having a dispute about who had dibs on a bathroom at Sandringham which had to be sorted by their mum - remember this is a dispute between two groan men... Quote The Queen had to step in to resolve a row after Prince Andrew took a bathroom that was reserved for Prince Charles, a former maid has claimed. Janette McGowan, a former Buckingham Palace maid, claimed the Duke of York refused to remove his toiletries from a bathroom at Sandringham intended for his older brother. She said the row, which took place at Christmas in 1999, was only resolved when the Queen intervened and spoke to Andrew, who was 39 at the time. Ms McGowan, who had travelled to Sandringham with the family, said members of the Royal Family are allocated rooms and a bathroom at the Norfolk estate, but Andrew had taken a bathroom meant for Charles. She said the 'bizarre stand-off' was only 'defused' when the Queen 'had words' with Andrew and tell him to use another bathroom. ... As he's (allegedly) such a stickler for protocol, you'd have thought he'd recognise that the Prince of Wales outranks the Duke of York.

BFTD
If Andy gets extradited after Mumsy dies (aye, I know), I'm choosing to believe it's the result of him being a c**t over his brother's bathroom.
Florentine_Pogen
The Nonce demands trial by jury......... https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/jan/26/prince-andrew-jeffrey-epstein-lawyers-court?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other Hopefully this comes to pass and it goes as well as the Maitlis interview....... "Asked for comment on Andrew’s filing, Giuffre’s lawyers said in a statement: “Prince Andrew’s Answer continues his approach of denying any knowledge or information concerning the claims against him, and purporting to blame the victim of the abuse for somehow bringing it on herself. “We look forward to confronting Prince Andrew with his denials and attempts to blame Ms Giuffre for her own abuse at his deposition and at trial,” their statement also said." It's a Royal Knockout, organised by Prince Edward when he was trying to get a job in theatre. Stuart Hall wasn't the only nonce involved it seems...

Monkey Tennis
Did he do the steeplechase? A vague memory says he did and won it or something. Can you imagine the star player with one of Europe's biggest clubs being allowed to do that in the summer now?
btb
According to The Grauniad article the Prince met Epstein in 1999 Quote Andrew’s denials were part of his “answer and affirmative defenses” to Giuffre’s civil complaint against him. In the 11-page document, Andrew denied wrongdoing, but he did say in this document that he met Epstein “in or around 1999”. which doesn't tally with what his secretary said to the Times in 2011 Quote Writing to the Times in March 2011, the duke's then private secretary Alastair Watson aimed to address "widespread comment" about the relationship with the New York financier, who died in prison this year awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. He said Prince Andrew had known Epstein "since being introduced to him in the early 1990s", but dismissed the "insinuations and innuendos" as "without foundation". It's little inconsistencies like that which might make a lesser man sweat...

Arabdownunder
So his defence seem to be: That he shouldn't be tried because Epstein's settlement gave his associates immunity and anyway he's never been an associate of Epstein He's never met Guiffre and any sex he had with her was consensual

It wouldn't take much of a lawyer to dissect that and make a difference between "meeting" and being "introduced to" though. Or explain that the Secretary was "misremembering".

Giving the impression of being shifty and not having consistent evidence is probably almost as bad as being proved to be lying. I always sympathised with Jiuffre in this case, but my mind was made up when I saw his BS about not sweating. Technically it doesn’t prove anything but it convinced me. I'd imagine the jury will think in a similar way.
