ICTChris
The origin story of Rome is twins, suckling from a she wolf. Airdrie was founded in a similar way but with half brothers drinking buckfast with a Staffie.

Two routes done the most are circular routes - one up the Kellas Road and through Burnside of Duntrune the other up the Drumsturdy Road and down past Clearwater. I like walking but this is just joyless right now. I literally live a mile from my old house in Invergowrie that we left 15 months ago. I would have had everything from Dunblane to Dalwhinnie to play with FFS

I wouldn't mind but you often can't get near Tullybaccart or Balkello because they are absolutely hoaching. I reckon Falkirk would be the only place to live as bad. At least you lots of hills in Clackmannanshire Can confirm, Falkirk is boring as f**k for walks.

roman_bairn
As I understand it, the reason for suspension across so many EU countries is not a simple issue of how many blood clot cases. It appears the concern is a prevalence of a specific set of blood clots around the brain, that they are associating as potentially due to the vaccine. 30 cases in 5 million, but who knows the long term impact, if indeed there is a genuine link. Let’s hope not.Im concerned about the impact on vaccine take up in the EU as a consequence, so understand the points being made, but given so many countries have now come to the same conclusion there may be some justification in the EU stance on this occasion.I reckon I’m about 2 or 3 weeks away from being vaccinated so I’ll be interested in the outcome. My default position though is that I’d go ahead unless there’s any genuine data to the contrary.....

I barely know anyone sticking to staying in the city anymore. I would have bailed by now but my wife would shout at me Yeh must be difficult being in a city local authority especially when the facilities are all closed, hope it's a lot sooner than 6 weeks!
Steven W
Hoping Ms Sturgeon gets out of bed on the right side this morning. She was crabbit as f**k at that last 'roadmap' a few weeks ago. Hope she can give us some cause for optimism.
Donathan
I don't understand this "expanded definition of essential retail". Surely something is either essential (in which case it should have been open all along) or it's not. It's perfectly legitimate to gradually reopen retail without making some wild claim that garden centres and click-and-collect have suddenly become "essential" as the rates have fallen.

Bairnardo
Buzzing to be free to leave the house to wander about aimlessly staring into the middle distance as opposed to only being allowed out for exercise , shopping, work, childcare, socialising (with one other person), doctors appointments, MOTs, going to B&Q, Starbucks drive thru, visiting the dump, funerals and weddings. Just to pick on the Starbucks point.... Tim Hortons in Stenny is the busiest drive thru I have ever seen currently. Most mornings its heaving and regularly in excess of 15 cars queued round it. Any other time of the day I pass theres always several cars. Their coffee is ok, not worth queuing for, but their food is absolutely fucking shite and massively overpriced. A covid study into the melting of peoples brain cells please.

Sherrif John Bunnell
As a simple teuchter eager to sample the exotic cuisine of a big city, I went to the Tim Hortons near Strathclyde Uni last year. The coffee was fine, but the tuna wrap was thoroughly mediocre.
