Saw that earlier, 20-40% of people support permanent restrictions on life even without covid? Yer havin a laugh nah?

There's long been a nasty, closeted authoritarian element in the country.

It's only really now that they've been comfortable outing themselves under the guise of Covid.

Your statement is a little misleading. All non double Vaxed from the UK were already banned.  So no change for UK travellers.
They have now extended this line to all countries.
Yes didn't realise we were already banned bar two jags. No family holidays there then.

Leave the teenagers behind to wreck your house.

Children aged 5-11 can travel if they are accompanying their vaccinated parents/legal guardian and must show evidence of a negative pharyngeal Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test, dated within 72 hours before arrival. Children under 5 do not need a test. Children aged 12-18 will only be able to travel if they have proof of full vaccination.

So why did Murrayfield in Level 1 have about 10x that last week, and Hampden in Level 1 6x that 4 times in the last couple of weeks?
No idea presumably Hampden was pressure from UEFA. It was crowds or lose it so they caved to that. Rugby no idea. The fact its 500/1000/2000 though isn't a surprise, it's what was expected. It seems no council is willing to break ranks and allow above the prescribed crowd.

Victim blaming without a shred of proof.  Classy.

It’s nothing like victim blaming.

Every time there’s been scare stories on the news about younger people in ICU it’s somebody with obvious weight issues or with other stated underlying conditions.

Anecdotal scare stories don’t hold water.

This, and BJKs post, are just blatant Government apologist pish.
All I did was state the current rules, apologising for no one. I'm as pissed off at not getting to games as the next person. All I was saying was it wasn't a surprise, we all knew the (utterly shite) rules. How you take that as a defence of them is beyond me.

Well since this is happening “every time” I’m sure you will be able to post numerous examples to back up your claim.

I presume they think it won’t affect them personally? Just like the tough talking brexit gamons with thier “ send them all back” “end freedom of movement “ funilly enough they didn’t like it when it was actually their freedom of movement that was affected

There are specific exemptions for events of international significance.

Its across the entire events sector as well.as sport.

COVID doesn't know if a match is the Euros or a Celtic friendly.

The Euros should be used to beat the the Government into submission so they relax restrictions across society for sport and other events. Making exceptions cos it's a 'big match' goes against everything the Government have been saying for 14 months. Much like the Christmas Day debacle.

I see Old man Danger is now giving it "without a shred of proof" to others, having only recently pre emptively dismissed anyone potentially caring about damage to the mental health of others, and the economy as being "at it", because they dont like masks.

Just tremendous stuff.

Fair enough, I’ll take that on the chin as you’re agreeing the rules are completely nonsensical and shite. Most of your posts appear to be in favour of ScotGov so I’d assumed this was another, apologies.

Seeing as he was using nonsense BBC articles to promote his viewpoint earlier, I assume he’ll be along shortly to accept this and apologise for being wrong.

Actually, won’t hold my breath.
