There's also the known issues around social distancing within both the workplace and of course public transport. The reality is that with our current situation it's just not feasible or indeed possible to have everyone back to work in crowded city centre locations. Over and above this, why would an employee such as myself wish to spend an additional £2,000.00 on travelling when I no longer need to and add an additional 2 hours travelling on to my working day, when again, I no longer need to. As for my employer, they're saving money by me and my colleagues not being there and the absence rate has reduced dramatically making the company more productive and more efficient. Tbf it would surely take a relatively serious illness to "not be able to make it in today" when making it in that day could be as simple as picking a laptop off the floor. Personally, if i knew I could get done what I had to get done, then there would be no point in using a sick day to stay at home anyway. Leave, or pay that £2,000 As an employee, it really isn't your choice of whether you "need to" or not if your employer decides (for whatever reason) they want you back in. They won't do as they're actively encouraging us to work from home permanently, granted if things changed and my only option was to return to the office, then so be it. Basically underlines my thoughts the other day as to why Celtic's request was knocked back. For all that, you'd like to think Ross County's home match v Celtic would be 100% for County season ticket holders. But I've been around long enough to know better.... It will 100% only be County season ticket holders. If they're only allowed a handful of fans in then they're not going to prioritise another team's supporters ahead of their own. I’d personally be looking at a total ban on away fans for the first couple of months at the very least. Probably isn’t relevant for bigger clubs but I’m quite sure the likes of St Johnstone in the Premiership and Ayr United/Morton in the Championship could easily take several hundred away fans, and virtually everyone in the bottom two tiers could take as many as wanted to go. However, it’s just going to end up with fans on public transport and private buses, packing into pubs in different towns and generally having a good time. Prove the methods for getting ANY fans at all in and out safely, then move on to the additional issues presented by away fans at a better time. But given the number of coach loads of Rangers and Celtic fans that would travel from every corner of the country and beyond each week, i'm not sure preventing Morton fans travelling to Ayr, for example, would make much difference. -1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Watching the Edinburgh v Glasgow game and stadium might as well be empty, but the SRU have been deliberately OTT with all of their guidelines.
