NotThePars
I’ve found recently that White Russians are the only thing I can reliably drink without getting heartburn on a night out. When we were in Dubrovnik last year I was going wild on strawberry daiquiris while writing my dissertation. Should’ve thanked them in the acknowledgments.
The Naitch
A well made mojito is hard to beat. Partial to the occasional pornstar martini as well.
Cosmic Joe
There is a coffee/ vodka type one that my daughter introduced me to. Looks like a wee glass of Guinness. Not a fan of cocktails, but thon was braw
yoda
When I first started bar work I hated doing cocktails but I don't mind them now, they can be reasonably fun* and people are usually interested in what goes into them. *Apart from Pornstar Martinis, I do not like making them. I can do very good Mojito, White Russian, and whisky sour - my brother is a fiend for a well made Negroni, so I've yet to meet his high standards yet. My Pina Coladas are, for whatever reason, absolutely dreadful. Thoroughly enjoy a whisky sour (smokey whisky works so well and anyone who goes without egg is a deviant).

MONKMAN
A Caipirinha on the Copacabana takes some beating, but the finest cocktail I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting was a rhubarb brulee Martini from Kitchin. tamthebam
Cocktails were £1.50 during happy hour at the Aberdeen student union back in the early 90s- I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour.. Sheepdip was the most popular, I can't remember the exact recipe but it was green and had blue bols in it (appropriate as you got blue balls in winter in Aberdeen) I used to like a Brandy Alexander or a White Russian too
Eednud
Surprised nobody has mentioned a sloe comfortable screw yet. Rarely drink them but when I do it’s usually a mojito or Moscow mule.

The best on is using Vodka and Kaluka (an espresso liqueur) I just the syrup for speed and it's 40ml Vodka to 60ml syrup. Deanburn Dave
Made James Bond style martini one evening for my wife and her pals. Ridiculously strong stuff so they were all blootered within the hour. Next day they vowed never again !!

Pretty good in my book. You'll need to add an espresso to make an espresso martini and a few coffee beans on top to perfect the look
WeAreElgin
Mojitos are extremely refreshing and go down perfectly after a couple of pints on a hot day. Or a cold day. Or any day.
