BBC Scotland podcast out in an hour featuring Tom English.

should be rich entertainment. A shrill Tom going round in circles desperately, like a tricyclist with a flat tyre. Hopefully there'll be a foil in the studio too to point and laugh.

Good statement i think from Aberdeen.

It's what i thought they were voting no for,not siding with Rangers and hearts.

its the same reason the vote got a few more votes other than the tantrum teams who finished bottom of their leagues.

Utter mental these hearts and rangers fans wanting to boycott everyones grounds.Just do it then.

All because you cant take defeat and making up crap about how votes went.As if it was anymore to do with you than anyone else.

Trying to take a moral high ground?Really is a joke.

Out of context but what exactly is this Stand Free thing?

He was a jigsaw enthusiast who didn't like negative dots on PnB and couldn't get anyone to take him on.

It's been genuinely fascinating to watch a guy who used to be a reasonable, intelligent journalist just completely lose his head as he becomes sucked into the lunacy that is Scottish football. Due to the absense of any other sporting stories just now he has latched onto this in the hope it will run and run through the summer and that his intrepid journalism will be credited for bringing about change at the SPFL.

It's odd isn't it? I've generally thought of him as decent enough, from such as I've seen of him, but I've just looked at his twitter and f**k me he's lost the plot on this one.

I understand feelings are running high and the vote today shows there is enough discontent to cause rancour that isn't going to disappear in a hurry. But the partiality of his links and sources - if I'd been relying on that as my only source of news in the build-up to today then I'd have been astonished, this afternoon, to learn that not only had the vote not been carried unanimously, but that Douglas Park hadn't been carried triumphantly into Hampden on a shield hoisted by the other chairmen, while the entire population of Scotland lined the streets to garland them with flowers.
