George Floyd/Black Lives Matter Protests

Recommended Posts

The Defund the Police campaign has brought the world's attention to the ridiculous amounts America spends on its occupying army-style "police force" and will likely result in more money being allocated to community projects, and so on, in the coming years. A tremendous success that wouldn't have happened if Black people had just kept quiet and refused to partake in any form of protest.

As ever, the divide here isn't between nasty Marxists and brave Free Speech Crusaders, but between those who see a Black person murdered by the police as a tragedy, and those who see the same incident and immediately think "he probably deserved it".

I can guess which group this Rossi alias belongs to.

To be clear, we've had disagreements and will again but I don't think anyone thinks there's any comparison between you and this latest cretin. One love brother

Cheers min, I am astonished that people like that still exist.

Well he pointed a gun at a pregnant women during a robbery so he wasn't exactly a saint was he? Plenty of people die at the hands of the police including white people but nobody cares about those ones, they don't get their own riots do they?

I clearly have different opinions to most who post on this thread but i'm entitled to mine. Nothing i've said is racist.

Well, seeing as you said BLM supporters are anti white racists I might just leap to judgement on that one, to save time.

Show racism the red card, kick it out ect stand for opposing racism, why not show support for them? Instead we get a symbol of support for a movement that has some seriously questionable far left political views...
Those groups are 100% behind the campaign to take the knee.

Maybe you should read a wee bit more before throwing out edgy opinions.

Nothing you've said is racist, but everything you've posted has shown a staggering ignorance of the issues.

You're so far off the mark here, and the fact that every other poster on here has called you out should be an indication of that.

I said some of their core support are anti white, clearly you never saw the banners some of them had in the US? But like i've said it's just typical of the leftist types, he disagrees with us so he must be racist. No attempt to counter the valid points that i've made.

Playing FoS would mean the knee booers wouldn't have to make a decision, of course.

Everybody needs good knee booers.

Punctuation was wrong and that can't be left uncorrected.

Yes because most people posting in this thread are centrist or left leaning. Just because people in your bubble disagree doesn't mean that there aren't millions of people around the UK who agree with me. A quick look at comment sections would make that quite clear. I'm pretty sure the guardian did a survey the other day and something like 55% thought blm had set race relations back while only 17% thought blm had improved race relations, that was just a random poll of 1000 or so people so quite clearly i'm not in a small minority.

You’re right. You’re not in a small minority. There are millions of idiots in the world.

Do tell. I had protests in my neighborhood and didn’t see any anti-white sloganeering. Would’ve been kinda silly given half the protestors were white.

There is no overarching structure to the movement. It's a slogan, used by various grassroot groups.

In football it's use is quite clearly a symbolic gesture to oppose the structural racism that exists in Britain.

There are no Marxists. You've been had.

... and we come back to the reason that millions of people are against blm. People can't tell them exactly why they're wrong but they just are. We're idiots because you say so, freedom of speech and having a difference of opinion goes out the window we're justbwrong according to you. That's exactly what pushes many people to the right, attitudes like the ones some people have shown on here.

So you didn't see the 'kill a white on site' leaflets that were handed out in Dundee and Glasgow a few months ago?

You haven't made any valid points. You don't have a clue what defund the police means, according to your American pals the NHS is Marxist, socialised medicine, and you saw some placard on Breitbart or Paul Joseph Watson's tweets from a demo and go from there to the core of BLM are racists in one easy jump.

I live in Chicago, the Tully is a hard to find publication.

ETA - as is the Times.

FURTHER ETA - you may be confusing them with Dyslexic Lives Matter, unless they’re only targeting whites working in construction.

You along with others on this thread are just quoting me as saying things that I clearly didn't say now...
