Melanius Mullarkey
David de Gea. The Ghost Goalie.
Jacky1990
De Gea saves penalties like when you get stuck in goals at 5s and want out. Pathetic.
Guest
Don’t think I have ever seen a less convincing keeper facing penalties. Utterly woeful. Apparently he hasn’t saved one in 6 years.......tonight clearly showed why. How could someone who was once considered one of the top 3 or 4 keepers on the planet look so utterly clueless? If he hadn’t bothered diving, he would have saved two.
TheGoon
Get it right up those pundits and Savage, yet again underestimating the strength of the league they’re up against.
ddfg
Dean Henderson has saved 6 penalties since De Geablast saved one, that would have been the smart substitution to make
RossBFaeDundee
Should've subbed Henderson on. Has a keeper had a worse shootout before? 10 pens conceded, maybe got close to 1 or 2 at most, and missed his own.
Ro Sham Bo
Almost certainly De Gea's last act for United as well. Some good penalties in there but De Gea must be the least imposing goalkeeper imaginable when it comes to penalties.
Moomintroll
Oooft, biggest hint ever that Man U need to empty him, can't save a pelanty, can't take a pelanty. Well done you mad Pyschedelic Spaniards.
David W
The absolute nick of Solskjaer standing with his hands in his pockets whilst Emery is rallying his troops for extra-time. Delighted for him getting one over the English journos after the abuse he took when at Arsenal.

Before tonight it was apparently 25 consecutive penalties without saving one, presumably that includes shoot outs, so the number is now 36.
Bairnardo
The #scenes we deserved after sitting through that shite. Spoiler I'm on nightshift, and was fucking delighted at ET and a lengthy shootout
Thistle_do_nicely
i refused to cheer at first, was expecting them to get out of jail with a retake for the keeper being off his line but nope, no spawny escape there!! Braw for Villareal, fond memories of Riquelme as a baller in real life and ye olde PES days. Lyle Lanley
Does that mean St.Johnstone are guaranteed group stage football.
Jim McLean's Ghost
Man Utd gave the game away. They were on top for all the second half and did nothing. Then faded in extra time because Ole wouldn't put on a sub.

Some of his dives were more reminiscent of someone in 3rd year at High school. He really looked nothing like a proper keeper.

I'd have fancied my chances against that 300k a week keeper.
