Started filling in the register for United's TV.  Date Of Birth section you cant just type that in it's a square calendar starting with this month. An arrow to take you back through each month with each year that's nuts I'm an old git from the 50's. I gave up after a few minutes will watch highlights in Sportscene

Click on the year.

How's it going, DZ?

Hope you're well.

Now, I'm not sure which bit you are claiming is bait, as it's all true. 😊

Maybe you mean the fine specimen of manliness bit because, you know, that is subjective I suppose. In order to settle this let's just compare them...

One looks like he is unsure if he has just sharted or not, whereas the other has the look of an Olympian God.

Should be a straight forward selection for Jim assuming there are no injuries from last night.

Right side of our midfield/attacking area is causing us a bit of concern though.

Morias on the wing seems like the solution to a poor form Durmus/McAllister, imo.

We enter a schedule of three league games that could be a clear indicator of how well this season will pan out.

I’m not a big fan of three at the back but I’m not sure Mellon will change things, however we need to tighten up defensively.

I’d happily see Butcher In besides Reynolds in a back four with Powers partnering Harkes.  Clark and Shankland playing together with wide players and occasional overlaps from Robson and a right sided counterpart.  I’d be happy to see Sporle getting a chance in an advanced left sided role.

Powers and Harkes as a midfield two? Just kill me now!

Not at all, we should be looking to take all 3 points.

This is a club where the new manager bounce has bounced and a team who is leaking goals, shipping 8 in the last 3 games having the worst GD in the league.

We have a better squad and easily a better looking manager.

Agree, we should be looking to take 3pts ( as all games) but a draw wouldn't be a terrible result.

Maybe bud.

He has good energy, harasses defenders and is pretty unpredictable.

His decision making is pretty poor though.

Hope it happens for him though, he is definitely more effective than McAllister just now.

As they come into the home stretch ...........and it’s Mellon by a chin.

Think Wed was an important step for Goody. Back four now sorted (until next suspension/injury). Foley playing where he should be and a midfielder in Erhahon actually passing forward. McGrath playing behind a striker and not wasted out wide and Connolly getting into the team. And Erwin starting before Obika. Result was poor however the structure was good. Just need Cammy in the team playing wide right instead of Morias and we have the strongest team with the players currently available.

Obviously an Away win.

Hadn't really thought of Cammy playing out wide. Guess that's an option - but I can't see him getting in before Morias. Obviously, ideally, that will be Magennis or Flynn eventually.

Agree with the rest, though; Shaughnessy's return has brought some proper shape back to the team. My feelings about not having a back-up CH have been made here already.
