The whole Batman v Superman thing only takes longer than the split-second it would take Superman to kill Batman in any number of ways because Superman is hobbled by morality. I can't imagine Godzilla saying, "no, giant monkey, to kill you would just be gauche". There's a rumour going about that it won't actually be a versus film, but that they'll be teaming up against Mechagodzilla. Apparently they fucked up releasing toys last year, and the trailer virtually confirmed there will be a MechaGodzilla by having it pretty much spelt out behind a character in the trailer. Complete mismatch. edit it seems like Kong has grown 150 feet since his last film so maybe closer than I first thought.
