The army is the biggest fucking money pit in the country and these c***s want to give them more money all while they tell everyone the country is broke. Stupid fucking country.

The Ajax project, another Army black hole of £5.5B was supposed to be ready 2017, won't be ready till 2028/29 at earliest,

British army’s new Ajax fighting vehicle will not be ready until end of decade | British army | The Guardian

A troubled £5.5bn programme that is already six years late in building the British army’s new Ajax fighting vehicle will not be delivered until the end of the decade.

Labour accused the government of failing British taxpayers and troops after the Ministry of Defence confirmed that payments towards vehicles would resume after ministers concluded the programme was “turning a corner”.

Originally intended to enter service in 2017, the programme has been repeatedly delayed, with problems including noise and vibration issues that have injured soldiers testing the vehicles.

After halting payments to General Dynamics Land Systems UK (GDLS-UK) more than two years ago, the MoD said on Monday it would hand over £480m this month to the arms company. It said full operating capability was expected between October 2028 and September 2029, when the army has trained and converted forces to the vehicle.

Always money for the army.

Home Office documents show that of 5,700 asylum seekers identified in the initial cohort, the government had lost contact with 3,557.

Only "2,143 continue to report to the Home Office and can be located for detention", the documents say.

"Hey lads, we're thinking of packing you off to camps in a country thousands of miles away from our jurisdiction, best known internationally for an outbreak of mass hysteria that resulted in more than a million people being hacked to death with machetes"

Just cannot imagine why anyone would flee screaming in terror into the underground because of this. People, eh?

The westminster government funds the UK military to the tune of £50 Billion annually, then the UK military does what the Pentagon tells them to do, the recent RAF strike against Iranian drones is testament to that, as is strikes against Daesh in Syria and strikes against The Houthi in Yemen, even the £35 Billion Trident missile system is leased from the US where the UK are not allowed to even service the missile guidance systems but have to be sent back to the USA for servicing.

So where does that leave us? simply as being viewed by the rest of the world as the USA's puppet leaving us wide open to retaliatory terrorist attacks.

It just shows that these people don’t belong here.  It is very unBritish not to volunteer to be cannon fodder for the ruling classes crazy schemes.  Deportation is the only solution.

Jonathon Gullis on his feet today at PMQ's praising the tories and Sunak while listing what he thought was glorious tory government achievements.

It was embarrassing cringeworthy tripe.

He's obviously touting for a peerage as he is clearly shitting himself of losing his marginal seat and the gravy train that came with it that he seems to have profited by. Doubt if he sees himself back teaching.

I'm more and more certain the general election will be in January, for one simple reason.

"Rishi Sunak: British Prime Minister, 2022-2025" looks better on his CV/history books.

The highspot of his career was clearly when he used to report on St. Mirren matches for the Paisley Daily Express.

Boris turned away from the polls for not having any valid ID.

Not the first time he's forgotten his own rules, I guess.

Wouldn't it have been a brilliant post to hold on election day... being the polling clerk who got to tell the guy who was PM when the voter ID law was passed to eff off because he didn't have the right ID required by his own law.

That bloke or woman should get free drinks for life.

I bet Boris said, "Do you know who I am?"

I hope he did.

It would have been a brief conversation....

"Yes, sir, I do know who you are and you should have known better. The rules DO apply to you. Now go away and get some appropriate ID."

Oh, to have heard something like that!
