I was going to say he’s not but that he’s contactable via Weegie board, but he’s from Edinburgh so that doesn’t work.  :(

He is from Glasgow tbf.

I remember when he was a local councillor here, and I think he has been a member of at least 4 political parties!

The truth is that independence doesn’t seem to be a big enough issue for a big enough portion of the Scottish population to necessitate another independence focused party, particularly one consisting of angry shouty types like Alba.

I then read the accompanying tweet...

I know its not really the point but why does the Kinghorn to Norfolk line go so far out into the sea, or is it just like that in the diagram to make easier to tell the lines apart?

Wonder if they're angry about all the other interconnectors that are making renewable energy succeed across northern Europe, or if it's just the ones that go between Scotland and England.

Pleasingly, the one between the UK and the Netherlands is called BritNed.

It’s an illustration of a planned inter-connectors. This is the current state of subsea power cables.
