If his performances against Kilmarnock and St Mirren were anything to go by, he’s done at most levels. I don’t really think he’s done - poor run of form from him though.

Such a frustrating one that - first half was very even and you were thinking it could go either way, then that free kick is the worst time to concede (Kyogo in the wall? Eh?). Lagerbielke I thought was poor throughout but a soft penalty and definitely a harsh red and then Holm's was a definite red and no way back. It's not so much a pumping other than some ill-discipline and naivety (and having the smallest man on the park be part of the wall!) that gave us a 2-0 away defeat. Lazio and Atleti drawing 1-1 works out well for us though and with Feyenoord as the final home game we can still be optimistic. That goal by the Lazio keeper though. That was immense!

RuMoore
Celtc could have done with Morelos.
Wee-Bey
On the face of it, a 2-0 defeat with 9 men away from home in the Champions League isn't the worse result. They've got a chance of getting something from them at Celtic Park imo. Highly likely they'll be bottom of the table with 1-5 points at the end though.

10menwent2mow
Celtic thinking they can compete at this level will always be hilarious. Do they not have a bigger turnover and wage bill than Feyenoord. It's just so unfair.

Getting beaten by a very poor Feyenoord team does not equal good. What I really think Celtic should do is just try harder, invest a wee bit and then they might be able to get a draw away at a mediocre champions league team. Good luck with that.

He’s always been pish at that level if you mean Champions League. He’s spent his entire career, apart from a short loan spell at Notts County, at a level he’s comfortable in the best team in the league. He will never play in one of the top 5 leagues - fact.

You have to feel a bit for Brendan. He's got to be given a chance, he's come into a squad that previous management was allowed to spend at levels never seen prior at Celtic Park and he basically hasn't improved it at all. Some would say it's gone backwards.

My comment was in reference to the 1970 European Cup final not tonight’s game however now you have my attention I’ll give you the courtesy of a reply. Maybe you should apply that logic to your own team mate and maybe you can get a draw against a poor Champions League team like us, I mean you referred to us having a higher wage bill and turnover than Feyernoord but we have that over you too so what’s your excuse? Good luck on Thursday mate hopefully you’re still full of the banter Edited September 19, 2023 by Jinky67
