I suppose learning their language is out the question.

Was due to get a haircut the other day but got a text to say they’d had to shut the salon due to someone having the virus. Found a local place to cut it instead. The lady was explaining to me what she was doing and I said, “just do what you want with it”. She said “ooh, that’s my favourite sentence in the world”. Don’t get that kind of service from my usual guy and despite giving her a tenner tip it still cost half the usual price. My hair looks a bit shite though.

Don't think I've ever paid more than a tenner including a tip.

I pay double the price 'cos I'm a generous kinda guy but even then it would take a whole year to come to a tenner. And no, I'm not a baldy c***!

Used to absolutely hate the small talk so much that I bought my own shaving thingy and have been giving myself a full shave without any guard on ever since. I ask for a 3 At back and sides and short and spikey on top. I pay £18 the place I go which is an obscene amount and I only go there because it’s a nice open space and no claustrophobic feel like you get in some nearby barbers. Last time I was in there the barber cutting the hair of the man next to me was being loudly and openly homophobic, I’m due a free haircut there and after then I won’t be going back.

A half fade with a wee bit off the top, I'm not entirely sure what the half fade bit is, it was suggested by the Turkish barber I go to in East Kilbride the first time I went in and it's been done like that ever since.
