Crazy that they arrested one of the royalist protestors that wasn't making a noise. Now even being sat near the wrong types of people can see you locked up.
Miguel Sanchez
The BBC has turned into the NME from... well, any time from 1996-2012. Fantastic.

scottsdad
EE cancelled my contract and charged me £298 after I complained about listening to foreign music while on hold - have I been treated unfairly? Quote I took out a phone contract with EE in March. When I phoned up to discuss the contract a few weeks later, I was frustrated at being left on hold and I asked the woman in customer services why I had to listen to Indian music. She took offence and EE cut off my phone line. I am 88 and have health issues and am worried that the hospital and my family won’t be able to contact me. EE also says I have to pay an early termination fee of £298.

At first that might look like simply a confused old person being picked on for, naturally, having old fashioned attitudes but if you do the sums... She was 32 when George Harrison's Indian Classical/Western rock fusion "Within you and Without you" appeared on Sgt Pepper's lonely hearts club band (the UK's best selling studio album) and 34 when Ravi Shankar played Woodstock.

Just good ol' racism. From the reply: "EE says that when you spoke to its staff member, you queried why ‘as a white Englishman’ you were being forced to listen to ‘Indian music’. You went on to use language and make comments that were discriminatory against a specific race.... I have also seen your correspondence with EE. Some of the comments you made may have seemed to you like honest feedback, but I’m afraid you come across as someone who holds racially prejudiced views they cannot hide."
velo army
Depends on the language used tbh, but unless they've been abusive I don't see why they would be charged and have their contract cancelled. Perhaps more to it that we're seeing.

Must have been bad. -

Shotgun
It’s quite common to see Trumpers strutting around with the US version of that shirt here. Curiously I’ve never encountered a single person who is “offended” by the flag. Not one. Offended by right wingers hiding behind it to cover up their vile behaviour, yes. But that’s quite different.
