Oops, that's Ethiopia buggered now. Edit: this isn't a terrible result for Ethiopia, after spending most of the game with ten men. Cape Verde haven't exactly been great, but they should've scored more, even with the few clear chances they've made. Pretty turgid game, but. BFTD Posted January 11, 2022 Share Posted January 11, 2022 (edited) Took forever to find a stream, so I missed the first 15 mins, but Sierra Leone look to be doing alright against Algeria. The favourites look a bit sluggish and their passing's been poor. Can't help feeling that Sierra Leone need to take advantage before Algeria get their arses roasted at half-time. Edit: Sierra Leone's keeper is absolutely going to make a huge f**k-up at some point Edit 2: almost all Algeria in this half. Sierra Leone a bit slapdash but holding up surprisingly well. Last few minutes have seen some real seat of the pants stuff at the back. Their keeper is a madman, but he still hasn't conceded. Edit 3: two absolutely shocking misses from Algeria. Almost like they were trying not to score. Edit 4: 0-0. Sierra Leone deserve their point; defended well for the most part, and had more energy and enthusiasm than their opponents. Could've scored themselves on a few occasions. Algeria were poor and didn't really look like scoring until the final ten minutes, where they had three or four clear-cut chances and were comically bad in trying to finish them. Algeria should have won that about 3-0 in the end, looked like they were missing on purpose.
