rainbowrising
Lost our shape when Rudden came on. A bit more open and StM came at us a lot more in the last 20. At the same time we never really did enough to get Rudden involved. Wide open for the goal. Where were we at the back with 60 seconds left on the clock? Keeper is hopeless at times when taking kicks.

How do you leave a guy in the middle of the box that wide open?
Fifespud
We finally play a cross that isn't aimed at Sharp's midriff and look what happens. Not sure why they were letting Ronan have 20 yards of space in the box, but great ball from Henderson who was excellent when he came on. Deserved the win, we were well on top by the final stages. Well on top in the final quarter whereas we were on top in the third quarter. Pretty gutting after a brave performance from our covid and injury ravaged squad. Wtf has happened to Jordon Jones? Boy looks pish.
djchapsticks
Was a pish performance overall but we missed enough easy chances to win two games and Dundee never troubled our goal. A win was deserved but only just

Lex
FT 0-1Don’t you just love to see a 93rd minute winner? Only one team trying to win that game and we’ve done it, superb. We should have won it 3 or 4 zip but some profligate finishing (Jones open goal over the bar from six yards FFS) made it look like plucky little Dundee would hold on for the point they were playing for.Not to be. Scotland U21 call up Henderson and puts in a delightful cross right on the money and Connor Ronan wins football matches, what a header. Lovely stuff and top six (top four?) is certainly still on. We didn’t play well really but we deserved the three points. Dunne and Shaughnessy solid at the back, probably our best players. Henderson the difference maker from bench.Dundee are a Championship club in all but name. Hope you enjoyed your wee holiday in the big time lads, now back down you go.

Agree with all of that. We also missed Anderson’s work rate. He’s looking a really good prospect imo. Be better with Fontaine than that useless c**t.

CC 33
Buzzing we gave Rudden a three year deal. Going to really enjoy watching him give the ball away everytime the ball comes near him over the next few years.
DeeTillEhDeh
Utterly toothless tonight. Not starting with a striker is just criminal but when he did bring him on the shape was all wrong. We have zero creativity and lost way too many 50-50 balls tonight. If St Johnstone weren't as bad as us we'd be miles adrift and relegated by now.A lot is down to the shite that McPake assembled but when you have someone as negative as McGhee and our defences's propensity to switch off at crucial moments - it's a recipe for disaster. All it will take is a couple of St Johnstone wins and we will be well and truly fucked.

GAD
That's a proper relegator of a goal really. Dundee clinging on desperately for a point they didn't deserve, only to lose it with practically the last touch? They aren't coming back from that.

Brophy worth a mention played very well I thought. Hopefully this is a wee confidence booster for Saturday.
