Though the second game would presumably be on a Monday night.

No chance of this happening though

I'm sure they did two non-Premiership games when on paper it should have been just the one.

The Pollok game the other night was only the third one scheduled for the Glasgow area in that entire period.

They had an extra Round 2 game that year (which is the equivalent of this year's Round 3). They might do an extra game to make up for Friday - it's probably dependent on whether they paid the clubs the fee for the other night.

Cardle is Magic
Cumnock vs Dumbarton would be my pick if they're not going back to Pollok as a make good.

Arnie
Surely Boness v talbot for the bbc coverage
Andy groundhopper
Dependant on whether there are Premier games on tv, they ought to make up for the cock up by showing Friday, Sunday and possibly Monday games. Fraserburgh my outside bet, with Brechin and Linlithgow safe bets. Maybe clubs who film their home games can help the poor BBC out, if they're short of a camera.
The Master
Pollock v Annan wouldn’t be a terrible pick under normal circumstances so the BBC could make up for binning Friday’s game fairly easily. Fraserburgh v Stranraer and Kilwinning v Forfar look good for potential shocks.

The first round, where HL/LL teams come in, was named preliminary round two in that year (something to do with the fact that the 2019-20 final was still to be played?) so the BBC chose an additional game in what was the second round (though not sure why they had three in the last 32). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020–21_Scottish_Cup#Broadcasting Edited September 18, 2022 by Ginaro

That’ll equal out now.Bo’ness vs Talbot will be the biggest tie this round by a distance.
craigkillie
There were still clubs from the west of Scotland in the competition prior to the WoS being formed, so if it was purely about picking fixtures based on distance to travel as the previous poster suggested then the BBC could have opted to show the likes of Caledonian Braves, Cumbernauld Colts or East Kilbride in 2019/20.
the philosopher
It never occurred to me Annan would get a tv game - Pollok- yes it will happen. Glasgow centric, central based biased whatever. They fall over themselves when Thistle or Clyde have any sort of bigger game. Cheaper and easier for their staff. Someone explain to Slaney there is a bit called Buckie ,it's no just a drink. Hi no bad shout Buckie v OG Broomhill for tv - then again Si & Slaney wouldn't like to score against a team wearing the green & white hoops ! -
