For being champions B teams are not eligible but no proscription on them being deemed runners up

Rule H3 says otherwise - “League positions will be determined by home and away results between clubs in MEMBERSHIP”

There's a lot more to that rule than you've included. Which should be obvious since only counting results against clubs in membership, would mean all the Guest club results are scrubbed from the table.

Speaking of which... was there anyone keeping a track this season on how the league table would have looked without B Teams?

I remember someone did it last season (apologies, totally can't remember who). It's a nice wee kinda "look at what you could have had" picture.

I don’t disagree, but for the purposes of the debate re Stirling Uni that part was most pertinent.

Glad there's an easier way of doing it. Couldn't be bothered manually as none of the Top 4/bottom 2 changed. Surprised to see how Broomhill jumped.

Broxburn win the EoS, and in the WoS two points (probably one) will secure the title for Beith who of course have no licence.

So almost certainly Broxburn v Dalbeattie/Creetown for a place in the LL.

So essentially Broxburn will be in the LL next season.

So...when was the last time that a vote took place on more relegation/tier 6 promotion and when are we likely to see another vote, which given the changing membership could go a different way this time?

I feel sorry for the Non League Matters forum.

Nothing to do with LTL btw as they just posted those news links in NLM - it's Dev who can't read and reposted someone else's subsequent question about Bronze licences for tier 5 (somehow even considering it a possibility).

Last vote would have been April 2022.

There was mention on here of a potential proposal around the time of the Colts being extended. Since it only takes a couple of clubs to put forward the idea. With all the "proper" clubs in the league now there shouldn't be an excuse for it not happening.

Its why i've occasionally asked when the AGM is going to be. As last time the relegation idea was broached it came with different formats, and if it was happening again this year its been all quiet on that front.

A proposal would need to be fully fleshed out with all of its ramifications considered bearing in mind the plethora of possibilities that currently exist - one up to SPFL or no promotion and none down or one down and the impact that has at bottom plus the situation if champions from below are not licensed.  That takes a good deal of work.  In reality there will be many differing Club viewpoints which might not readily be reconciled into a one size fits all proposal.  You would expect that if change was to come that a majority of clubs would need to coalesce into supporting one clear and coherent plan that covers all the bases - then put that forward knowing they have majority support.

Creetown v Dalbeattie Star on Wednesday is both clubs last league games of this season.   Creetown must win the game to win the SoSFL title.  Any other result and Dalbeattie are champs.

South Champs v Broxburn over 2 legs.

The Lowland League finishes too early for 95% of the LL fans.  Has to happen though because of the protectionist racket that is the Club 42 playoff.

The LL clubs must have known the timetable. Was anything stopping tcki off the season a week earlier?
