May be different in 2025/26 though unless they can persuade Edinburgh Council on expanding capacity at Meadowbank or find another compliant home. Meadowbank needs precisely one covered seat. It would be ridiculous (if typical) for the SPFL to insist on that, but even if they do, it surely wouldn't be difficult to instal.

It’s clearly not the one seat that is the issue, but the associated licensing and extra costs that would seem to be an issue, for stadia with 500 or more. I don’t know what they are, but would seem that it would be fairly substantial or would not have been an issue in the first place. And I guess these costs would be borne by the sports centre, and by extension the taxpayer. That being said, the amount of money they waste in the city with their vanity projects it’s probably small potatoes.

Last I heard it's nothing to do with the stadium criteria anyway, it's about paperwork.

The SoS league can actually put up an entrant for promotion unlike the benighted WoS.

Don't like giving red dots so @FuzzyBear can have one of these. He does have a point tbf.

The Dalbeattie chairman practically admitted before the 1st leg on "norrie works" YouTube film that they were happy away from the LL. The travelling had caught up wi them. When the champion club is coming out wi that (and I've always defended the SoSFL at tier 6) its maybe time to look at the SoSFL standing in the pyramid. Tell you what why not take all the non SPFL teams ( especially juniors ) out of the Scottish cup too as they have no chance of winning it ? At least Dalbeattie didn’t fake it a la Buckie & Beith.
To B or not B
Teams like Clydebank should resign from the West and join the SoSFL, they would almost be guaranteed to be in the playoffs.
