overthetop
Changing the subject dramatically, what was the half time entertainment like? The kids in both games were the highlight of my afternoon at Palmerston yesterday. Loads of enthusiasm which the crowd responded to. Hope your nephew enjoyed his experience.

Mustafa_sheet
Interesting to note that that was our first sub 1600 league crowd this season..............and nearly 200 down on the previous home game against Dumbarton who brought a similar small away support. If this present dire run continues then crowds can only get worse and that's even before the clocks change and the harsh winter weather sets in!!!

There were a noticeable amount of regulars missing around where I was yesterday. It looks as though this clown is already starting to cost the club money. Guest Flash
2011/12 First quarter 8 points. Second quarter 8 points. Third quarter 10 points. Final quarter 6 points. 2013/14 First quarter 9 points. We had 4 home games and 5 away in the first quarter of 2011/12 and we played the only part-time team away. This season we've had 5 home and 4 away and we've played the 3 part-time teams at home. Edited October 13, 2013 by Flash
logiesboots
The manager getting the punt might not be the major talking point if rumours of our 2 strikers and right back from yesterday's match all being arrested and charged with various things after an alltrication outside/inside a dumfries nightclub last night . From what ive been told the right back has previous so is being held till tuesday and the other 2 have been charged but released . Others lifted but released without charge .

the_vortex
I'm kind of hoping the rumours aren't true . It's the last thing the club or players need FFS

That's the last thing the club need at the moment! These players need to learn to grow up the elder statesman of the team, not very clever! Hope it's not true.
Fae_the_'briggs
He cost us a point at falkirk last week as well. So obviously no blame attached to Kev Dz for giving the ball away under no pressure allowing the Falkirk player the chance to shoot. It is getting harder to defend Antell's performances, especially after Cowden's goal yesterday, but in many cases outfield players have made the simple mistakes that lead to opposition goals yet they don't come under the same scrutiny or criticism.

No amount of whataboutery will make Antell a better keeper. Kev gave the ball away on the half way line. The defence could have done better too to prevent the shot, but neither of those things changes the fact that Antell was beaten by a shot from well outside the box - not only a shot from outside the box, but not a particularly great shot either, it wasnt that far away from him and wasnt in the corner Edited October 13, 2013 by Mr X

Looks like the manager blamed Kev dz for the goal v Falkirk he dropped him yesterday! Watched footage of that goal Kev was put under pressure by a poor pass to him and was closed down quick and didn't get pass away, saying that it was almost at the half way line and they scored a soft 20 odd yarder into the centre of the goals that Antell was suppose to be covering.
