palmy_cammy
What exactly is the nature of his injury? The talk yesterday was that he has a back injury which they don't want to operate on through fear of paralysing him. It all sounds very dramatic, with more than just a hint of Dumfries rumour mill about it.
Homer Thompson
What exactly is the nature of his injury? Just listened to the last podcast again. McIntyre says its a "bulging disc" on his back. He then says theyre leaving it to settle for a couple of weeks before seeing the specialist to decide whether or not to operate. Sounds like the rumour mill is a bit premature. At least, lets hope so

Surgery for that is relatively common but similarly taking a conservative approach to see if it settles is also common so I guess that is what is happening currently.

Skyline Drifter
any first team players be playing as im sure they can play a couple over aged players? They can play whoever they like. It's a friendly and the Workington team won't be u20. However as far as I know it's just the u20's squad.
Guest TOPFITTER
"... needs operated on or whether it will be conservative treatment" were McIntyres exact words. Certainly seems to fit I have recently had Lumbar Decompression Surgery L5. For a mere mortal like me 6 weeks recovery then return to work duties 6 weeks. Hospital stay 2 nights. Given he is a fit professional athlete should be a bit sooner to be back playing I would have thought.
19QOS19
Hopefully Mitchell makes a swift recovery. I can't say I believe the rumour that he may become paralysed. I don't know the procedure of course, but the spinal cord doesn't go as far down as the lumbar region of the spine so it would take a helluva funk up for him to become paralysed.

overthetop
Queens have had good cup runs and made some money the last couple of seasons. Looks like this could be a leaner one.
the_vortex
Is it possible to buy a season ticket this Saturday before the game ? Asking for a friend at work who can't get across until then
Tam
Not only that, but 3 times in as many weeks and twice in 3 days! SNORE! Even with shots of pure adrenalin - and I live 20 mins from the stadium - I will struggle to go along to this!
Skyline Drifter
Is it possible to buy a season ticket this Saturday before the game ? Asking for a friend at work who can't get across until thenIt is possible but the process takes second place at the times when we are busy with teamsheet production and I have no idea how many people will be trying to do the same. Depending on timing it could easily mean a ten or fifteen minute wait.If he comes sometime between 11:30 and 2pm it will probably be fairly quick.
temps15
Excuse my ignorance here but, I'm moving back up to Scotland end of this week and will be going to a lot of away games in the central belt. Can I just turn up at the matches and get a ticket for away end or will I have to buy them before hand, I no more than likely we won't sell out our ticket allocation!! But for peace of mind just wanted to know cheers

I dont know the details but I'd be surprised if any, other than maybe Rangers and Hearts, are not pay at the gate.
