Staggie_93
What's the score with Mustafi? Was he signed in time for tomorrow?
Sherrif John Bunnell
I watched Sheffield Utd vs Notts County this evening. It was bizzare seeing Fotheringham playing at right back. He is one of the departures I'm least concerned about.
RandomGuy.
You lot look strong this year. Although a lot might depend on the foreigners
CountyFan
You lot look strong this year. Although a lot might depend on the foreigners 10th is the aim. Anything more is a bonus.
Sherrif John Bunnell
Der Wolf has posted on Twitter that he has retired from professional football to study engineering back in Germany. He will be playing for an amateur 5th Division team. His time with us was brief, but certainly memorable.

StoneThrowAway
Still had time left in him IMO, best of luck to our favourite foreign cult hero (so far).
Loki
Still had time left in him IMO, best of luck to our favourite foreign cult hero (so far). Not even in my top three.
forkboy
Not even in my top three. Boukraa, Escalon & who? Oikonomou seems too good to be a cult hero.
StuartTaylor
His performance at Tynecastle really had me feeling we were on to something special, but in the end I wasn't convinced tbh. Best of luck to him, his winning goal v Celtic will certainly live long in the memory.
yoda
I'd have Kova, Evan, Ciani and Lionel all above him. And in the cult hero stakes as well. Edited August 5, 2013 by yoda

Staggie_93
I seen The Lion scored for the U20's in a 2-4 loss to Hibs.. Is he ready to be unleashed now?
Spain
I'm not sure how reliable this new StaggieArchive twitter account is, but it appears legit, and it's claiming we haven't taken this years squad photo yet because we're expecting 2 more signings before the end of the window. First I've heard of it, but I wouldn't be surprised if we're still looking at ACM's or CF's. Midge and a powerhouse?
bunglebonce
He's the gudge who manages the match programme, IIRC. The website's brilliant and once it becomes as complete as the Arab Archive and others, we'll have a very good resource. ETA: Gardyne will barely play for United this season. He was on the bench against Thistle, but GMS, Graham and Erskine got on ahead of him. And although I've been calling for a number 10 all summer, any more incoming players would result in a pretty bloated squad. Spain
Del did say that if anyone else came in, ones would be going out, which considering he'd only just re-signed or signed everyone except Sproule seemed odd to me at the time. Perhaps he has a loan move lined up for a couple. Glen, Cooper, Ross maybe? Edited August 8, 2013 by Spain
bunglebonce
I think the first two will find it most difficult to play of all the playing staff, especially if Cooper is over-age now (I take it the rule on young subs is still in place?).
