#Gary
He was a midfielder with Motherwell, but was converted to a makeshift left back with us. Which position is he playing now? He's played at left back mainly but started the last two at left mid. Equally honking in both positions. Can't even begin to imagine him at centre mid either - not a single good characteristic required of a footballer. Seems like the lad's got lucky with his career.

Nonsense - He's polite and he's rarely late.
bunglebonce
He missed most of our Div1 campaign and 40 unbeaten run due to injury. Looking back, he started 18 of the 40, including the nine wins on the trot this time two years ago that put County at the top of the First. His passing and crossing were below average, but just as I'd be looking to the bench to see if Scott Morrison was coming on, he'd put in a wonder cross that would give a clear cut chance. He was a good defender among an extremely tight back four (it took Scotty Mo a few games to get up to that standard), but was found out in the SPL where most wide midfielders have a lot of pace. Willie McStay signed him as a centre-mid and he played a couple of games there. He went on a run and hit the post in a 0-1 loss at home to McGlynn's Raith Rovers, but was otherwise run of the mill. He then had to make do at left-back to cover Morrison when he was injured (and when Calderwood - who didn't like Morrison much - came in). When Adams returned, 'Fizzy' was first choice until his injury and Scotty Mo's excellent form through Spring never let him back in. This is him at the weekend. FilthyMack
I'll remember him fondly enough as he was very much part of that unbeaten run in 1st Division and beginning of our first season in the SPL. For some reason though my lasting memory of any particular incident involving him will be our first ever SPL game at Pittodrie when on the edge of the box the bodies of defenders parted in front of him like the pearly gates opening up to invite him through on goal but, having never found himself in such a position before or since, he panickedly looked around for someone to pass to so they could take responsibility for missing a sitter.

Spain
You know, that was just pure coincidence I raised that, when he actually had negotiated his release 3 days ago. Link

Spain
I'm genuinely a little excited, like a little kid, at the prospect of Oiko's return. I really hope I don't get my hopes up for nothing.
bunglebonce
Oikonomou back would be great. Next on the list: a ball-playing centre-back...
