He transformed the team at the start of the year, when he was used as a forward playing on the wings and who went beyond the striker. It made such a difference to the team, who were badly missing pace and directness. This season, he had been used almost exclusively as a chalk-on-the-boots winger, which he wasn't too hot at and it's completely understandable why he fell out of favour at Hibs. When he wasn't a goal threat he was a passenger in the team, although the first 45 in the abandoned St Mirren game showed he can play at times. The red cards at Forres and St Mirren were extremely poor, but it's his play compared to the impact he had last season that makes me not so sad to see him go. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He's been notably pish this season (45 minutes vs Saint Mirren in Paisley aside) and I still can't get over that horrendous tackle a couple of weeks back. Is he any better than Maatsen now? Posts wild rumours then deletes the ones that don't come true. Ivan was good for us, but as previously stated he hasn't been that good this season, and if he couldn't use his pace to beat a player he was severely limited. I would have liked to have seen him play through the middle instead of Ross, Luckassen etc. Edited to add: The twitter account also posts his factual rumours well after the fact as well.
