Alert Mongoose
John Hutcherson, 21, drove home drunk with his friend Francis Brohm, 23, who was hanging out the passenger window while vomiting due to carsickness. Hutcherson drove off the road and sideswiped a telephone pole support wire, decapitating Brohm. He continued the final 12 miles (19 km) to his Atlanta, Georgia, home, parked in the driveway, and went to bed. A neighbor found Brohm's headless body in the truck the next morning.[274][275] It shouldn't, but this one had me chuckling.

If you clicked through to the list you'd note that article isn't included, and was perhaps used as a humorous way to open the thread, as is the tone of the account.
BFTD
Some of the best stuff on Wikipedia comes from the background arguments surrounding articles. There are some fucking obsessive lunatics that curate that website. One of my favourites was a guy who took loads of pictures of his genitals and used them to illustrate articles that were technically appropriate, but freaked people out because...well, it's Wikipedia, not ratemycock.com. Most of these are a bit lame, but meh: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Talk_page_highlights https://www.dailydot.com/unclick/wikipedia-conflict-map-flame-wars/
