lichtie23
No urgency from us when the game was there for the taking was disappointing to see. Balde very good for us again and Adarkwa made himself a nuisance. Yasin looked tricky
Nelson
No harm to the players, but that was honking.
lichtie23
Scott Stewart was awful at RB today.

Draws will not keep us up, no matter how decent a result it looks on paper.
timlichtie
A gutsy effort from the Lichties in atrocious conditions. A draw probably fair. Big Sean deserved his goal. He gets better every game.
Smokerson
Good away performance in tough conditions. Would have taken a point before game. That’s 5 from Raith, Dundee and Ayr, just need to sort our home form out.
Thereisalight..
Quite a few roasters amongst the away support today. My cousin likes to sit so we went to the main stand and were near them. One of the c***s broke a seat near the end. Loutish behaviour that should be left to the OF

Yasin looked tricky Was not at the game to-day but this has been evident in many games this season, O'Brien may be Captain but unfortunately we are missing a player in the Jim Fraser /George Rowe mould who could take a game by the scruff of the neck and drive the team forward, no one in the present team can fit this bill.
D'Jaffo
That was turgid and had it been against opposition where they hadn’t travelled so far I doubt the game would’ve been on. The whole farce with the penalty just showed it up. We had enough chances to kill the game in the first half and you just knew going in at half time with a 1-0 lead wasn’t going to be enough. Dick Campbell is nothing but an embarrassment and needs to call it a day.

It absolutely makes sense to go with the wind in the first half. For all you know it will have changed direction or calmed down by the second half.
Oceanlineayr
Not a pretty game to watch. Dempsey did well to score his penalty. The wind blowing the ball off the spot summed the day up. Arbroath seemed to come into the game once they got the equaliser. 2nd for Arbroath looked wind assisted but fair enough to try it in the conditions. McGinty took his header well and did a good job getting on the end of it. Kirk did a magnificent tackle near the end to deny what looked a certain winner for Arbroath. Worryingly for us though he appeared to be crocked after it. Hope it's nothing serious. UpInTheAyr
Don't suppose it matters much anyway if you're not going to take advantage of it when you have it.
UpInTheAyr
Thought when the three of them were arguing amongst themselves who was taking it they were a cert to blow it, and did an Ayr player duck for the second Arbroath goal, kinda looked like it.
ellichtie
Should never have been a penalty but we fought well and took our chances when they came. Draw is probably fair.
AUcal
That was a pretty dreadful watch on account of the conditions. Although I couldn't help but feel that both teams didn't help things by putting the ball in the air far too much. Why not try to keep it down and play football if the conditions are like that. Any time either side did that (which was rare) the game was far more entertaining.

Thought we had a chance of getting something out of the game at half time but they played us off the park in the second half. Fast, passing, dynamic football and, importantly, they kept the ball ON THE FUCKING GROUND. Beggars belief how thick players and especially managers are.
