Is an attractive style of football that vital just now? I'm assuming its a case of do anything to avoid the play-offs/relegation then re-assess in the summer and gut out the squad of wasters.

Granted it’s just rumours, but from what I’ve heard from Aberdeen fans about him falling out with certain players, arrogance etc, he’d get on great with a squad that just loves to down tools to get someone the sack.

Lambert's been out the game for two full calendar years, during which time there have been a multitude of jobs down south at all levels become vacant then refilled, none of them by him.

Where his stock stands at the moment, a Scottish Premiership team (for the time being at least) definitely isn't beneath him, whether he believes that himself is another matter.
