She didn’t know her brother was about to be arrested, surely?

Like everyone else I have no idea about the details but I assume it will be a banal slice of human misery. Have to assume given the ongoing drug crisis that lots of families will be in similar situations.

Brother ? It was her husband I assumed as she is HYs sister ?

Seems like it is safer being a Russian Dissident than being linked to the First Ministers family.

Humza Yousaf's brother-in-law and two others have been re-arrested after a man was seriously injured falling from a window in Dundee.

Ramsay El-Nakla, Stephen Stewart and Victoria McGowan had appeared in court on Monday accused of drug charges and were granted bail.

All three were subsequently re-arrested in connection with a separate incident in the city's Morgan Street.

Police said a 36-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers said they had received a report that a man had FALLEN from a flat at about 08:20 on 10 January.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Two men, aged 50 and 36, and a 41-year-old woman were arrested on 15 January in connection with an incident on Morgan Street, Dundee on 10 January.

"Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."

Mr El-Nakla is the brother of Mr Yousaf's wife Nadia.

The trio appeared in court on Monday accused of being concerned in the supply of heroin at an address in Dundee's Balmoral Gardens on 11 January.

They are also accused of possessing cocaine and cannabis on the same date.

They made no plea at hearings in private before Sheriff George Way and were granted bail.

Considering that "Nationalist" is quite literally what any seperatist movement is, especially one aiming to restore a nation - I'd like Humza to offer ideas for a new term.

Or maybe this suggests the S"N"P is just more about governing Scotland than pushing for indy?

See this argument that SNP aren't independencey enough, it looks demented to anyone a bit more withdrawn from the intra-indy debate.

Yousaf has never struck me as someone who has particularly strong values, seems like he got into politics for the career (and maybe for a bit of fame) and picked a party on the rise. If he'd been born 10 years earlier he'd have joined the Labour Party.

I've got to the point of not-caring with the SNP.

Election after election it's "give us a mandate to demand a referendum!", then "demand" quickly turns to "please UK, can we have a referendum please..." and then they retreat to the comfortable residence of Westminster or Holyrood for the next 5 years and do the usual business, just to pull the same stunt again come the next election.

The only other move made was the court case which was just moronic anyway.

What is the alternative approach the SNP could take?
