Musketeer Gripweed
Auditors walk away from their clients all the time. Just last week I was reading about the auditors of Everton were considering resigning, so I am sure there is nothing to see here.

And for all the years that the £600k is being questioned? And if they signed them off (which they clearly did) then removing themselves for this year doesnt absolve them of any responsibility to ensure they are accurate. BBC has this as the "top story" on their Scotland section and have not posted the (rather obvious) commentary that I have above. BBC are really showing their colours this week. If the auditors had failed in their responsibility it would be their client sacking them, not them binning their client, and they would be facing liability costs and an investigation by the FRC. Nothing to suggest this is the case.

However you would have to be extremely generous in your interpretation of the site to think that it 2as for general SNP campaigning. how many mentions of the SNP can you see. How many mentions are there of raising money for general campaigning? How 1990s is that site? jesus f**k,

BFTD
All this fuss and it turns out that the £600k was acquired by a 12-year old kid with a book on JavaScript forms and CSS instructions scribbled on a napkin.

They don’t have a right, they have a duty. That’s the whole damn point of having an external auditor!! Ffs man.

Trogdor
I see the Scottish Mail on Sunday is saying Police Scotland have seized a £110,000 luxury motorhome from Peter Murrell’s 92-year-old mother’s house in Fife.

Trogdor
This is genuinely getting beyond parody. Thinking back a couple of months ago, who would have seen this coming? We live in Iannucci's world at the moment.

Self-determination for Scotland does not equate to enabling the same standards of arrogance, greed and corruption within its own cohort of political leaders. This sheer whataboutery is toxic to the wider credibility of the independence movement and needs to GTF. If it weren't for all the dingbats who gormlessly rallied to the cause of 'continuity' just two weeks' ago, then the independence movement could already have started clearing its decks of baldy clowns before this inevitable scandal broke. Well done Scottish liberal 'progressive' Twitter - you fucked it again.
