Just saw a clip of St Mirrens goal and watched it again,  that surely has to be up there for goal of the season.

Runner-up to our winner this coming Saturday against Killie that cements our Top6Tony finish*

Decent game.

Cantwell is getting better and better. Superb assist at the end there. Happy to see Morelos get a few. Flabbergasted to see Matondo do something other than run the ball out of play. Arfield doing what he does, he must have some goals to minutes played ratio this season. 👏

I wanted us to start some youngsters but glad we didn't otherwise that would have been a different outcome.

All credit to St Mirren. That game was never a 5-2, good away support and looking a very impressive side for their constraints.

We need to be taking a look at all these late collapses against Rangers and Celtic.

We've proven on more than one occasion this season we can hang with both in individual matches until the last 20 minutes when the wheels seem to come off for one reason or another.

It's a better problem to have than getting horsed early doors but it's still frustrating.

It’s not the only reason but I think the 5 subs rule is playing a part. The quality that the Old Firm have on the bench is incredible compared to the rest of us.

We put a lot into the game, hard work pressing all over the pitch. It's normally when they bring the substitutes on and we can't deal with the fresh legs.

I'm probably talking guff, it's disheartening when you look at their benches though.

To be fair, red cards played a big part in some of those Celtic games. They've arguably struggled against us when we've had 11 men.

Yesterday was undeniably disappointing though. I actually thought we were taking something from the game with 15 to play. In fact, when Shags was chucking in those long throws at 2-2, there was no reason why we couldn't have won it.

As people have pointed out, the range of options the OF have from the bench is a huge factor. But we should have been able to hold out for the draw yesterday.

To be fair, I thought yesterday's goals and last 15 minutes collapse were down to uncharacteristically bad defending. Every goal was easily preventable if we had carried out the basics of defending.

It didn't help that Baccus was injured, as he does a power of mopping up in front of the defence.

We need to be much better next week.

Does the fat man Morelos always celebrate his goals in that way. Seemed he was signalling that he was staying/signing.

Aye, it’s his usual celebration (assuming you mean the one where he slides on his knees taps his chest then points to the ground).

Very close however he did the shooshed with his finger to the lips.

Don’t think the five subs rule contributes to getting gubbed. The uglies gubbed us for years before the five sub rule anyway. The uglies starting XIs and benches are always stronger than ours due to them being light years ahead in finances allowing them to sign better players anyway. Does it matter then if subs are two, five, or ten?

I agree totally. Our bench is a mix of kids whilst they have players of a higher standard. We quite often can't change like for like. We are also not alone.  Our first 11 can give anyone a game but when we try to make changes we struggle.
