Scott McGill the Rovers man of the match, for me, even without giving him extra credit for playing out of position.

Demerits for Liam Dick, who really must be improved upon in the summer, and Connor McBride, who's as much a Championship footballer as I am.

Agree with this. Hopefully one of the first things Murray and our new investors do is sit down with Scott McGill and offer him a deal for next season. A guy that can play competently at right-back, left-back and through the midfield is going to be invaluable in a small squad.

Harsh on McBride, who played about 10 mins, yet you let Akio away without comment. He couldn't even find the way to the bench when we were finally relieved of him, taking the extra long way around the pitch.

Agree with someone else who said keep McGill.

Yeah, felt harsh on McBride who tried to offer an outfall. Not that I would be in a rush to keep him. Akio was awful again.

Had a number of decent chances in the second half there, was largely a game of kick and rush with little composure. Leaning towards seeing if we could keep McGill but otherwise we need a huge revamp in defence and up top, not that we didn't know that already.

Was largely a carbon copy of the last game against Arbroath at Starks.

Didn't get a sniff for us on loan. Potter looks to have made an error there.

How good was Gaston’s save after he fumbled the cross? Looked incredible from our end

Worldie, unfortunately the RaithTV behind the goal camera has a limited buffer period, so it likely won’t be on the highlights later. However, he somehow got a left hand up and deflected the shot, the commentary was raving about it, and they were nearly directly behind the shooter.

In response, how on earth did the last shot manage to be taken right at MacDonald with all the rest of the goal open for the taking?

Great reaction save. You'll know better than me, but from what I've seen of Gaston over the years that little passage of play seems to sum him up perfectly.

On the substitutions, I’m delighted to say that Scott Allan looked like the quality player we though we’d signed. Olusanya also looked decent and caused a few problems for Raith. Balde was a massive improvement on Tait and must start against Cove.
