an86
Nae harm to United fans, but I hope your trip to Palmerston is ruined by a TV move, so that we can have the one redeeming feature of our 326th game at Firhill since 2021. Have to think the Fife derby is a cert and it’s between QOS/United and Thistle/QP for the other.

Very clunky, but I guess it makes sense Did they also die in 2012?
Super Staggie
It's got to be Musselburgh or Clyde v Jeanfield after the away side pumped Elgin and set a new cup record for a non league side against league opposition? It almost had me knicker wetting at the thought of County putting lots past QOS only problem was they scored 2 against us that night in Dumfries.
tamthebam
A kind draw for me- a trip to either Musselburgh or Hamilton will ensue. There's a danger that my road to Hampden will involve me becoming a Clyde fan but it's a small danger...
Salvo Montalbano
How many TV games are there? Thought it was just 1 BBC pick for rounds 1 to 3 but folk have been talking as if there will be 2 or more?

It's QTV that do it - the same people that do the production for Premiership games, but it's quite a lot of work to get it cut down.
Ray Patterson
It's one TV game from Rounds 1 to 3, but the BBC have shown a second in previous years but that's usually been down to Covid or something.
Fuctifano
Really hoping they go for the Fife Derby or Qos - DU for the Monday night shite slot, will be raging if it's us to make a terrible draw for both teams even worse.
Sarto Mutiny
I assume the Fife Derby will be the TV game. It certainly should be.
Moorie
Looks like links park for Montrose v Edinburgh city. With Aberdeen rangers on the Sunday leaves the Saturday free for a game. was meant to head to Montrose game back start of the year but Falkirks cup run ended that. parsforlife
Financially that’s probably the best draw we could get I’d I’m still annoyed, 6 games against each other 4 before December is too many but even taking aside our draw it’s utterly pathetic, the very fact 2 championship teams playing each other is being considered for a tv pick shows that. Far far too many teams playing against sides in the same division or at least non-league vs non-league

Yip, one per round. R1 last year was impacted by Queen funeral and they pulled TV coverage of Pollok match. R2 they then had two games, Friday and Monday, and Pollok got one of those games - Annan match.
Monkey Tennis
I can't see our tie being remotely attractive for TV. It's not even attractive for fans of the clubs involved.

CowdenLoyal
They really should show games at this point involving wee diddy teams to help them out a bit... Big Dunc could do with some cash to help bolster his side to pull away from the bumhole of the Championship after all.
