Fullerene
You might think the lyrics are a bit repetitive for this one but it is a great song by the late great Joey Ramone.
pozbaird
As much as I like the guy’s music, and I haven’t read the thread, but has anyone said yet ‘every lyric that Noel Gallagher has written. Ever. In his life’? Just asking, but I do like his choons.

fuzzydunlop
maybe not lazy, but one I always find strange that I was reminded of watching old Reg last night. The line in Your Song: If I was a sculptor, heh, but then again, no
btb
As an aside some of the best nonsense lyrics comes from the Cut&Paste approach - you writes your lyrics, cuts them up & rearrange them. This method was used by by Bowie (Moonage Daydream) , Lenin (Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite on Sgt. Pepper - lyrics randomly taken from an old circus poster) & @ZingaliMan amongst others.

Guest
Regarding the la la las and na na nas mentioned above, I think for Don't You Forget About Me, Simple Minds can be somewhat excused: It was written for the film The Breakfast Club, with a given ending. The director extended the ending scene, however, the band didn't have enough time to add proper lyrics. Hence, the string of las at the end.....
