I see they are only 3 points behind the greatest team that ever lived now. They are well and truly back.

Andy Goldstein actually came away with that pish on Talksport today. That's the problem with United and the media, they can't just win or lose without it being euphoria or tragedy.

It really is the hype that kills them.

The BBC article earlier encapsulated this perfectly. Headline was “Hojlund breaks duck to mark start of new Man United era”.

One game ago they were absolutely shite. One comeback win against Aston Villa later and they’ve turned the corner.

It’s not an exclusively Man United thing - you see it all the time with other teams - but with the amount of coverage they get it’s probably amplified.

It is incredible how hyped they get, cdoes any other club get such OTT responses from the media?

From today's online Times.

A new era because they have won one game coming from behind. (KW meme time)?

Its ridiculous but they sell papers and keep everyone interested.

Actually baffling the referee missed it in real time.

Hardly subtle.

Refs are using VAR as a kop out of making a decision imo. The ref or his assistant must have seen that in real time but imo they think "f**k it, we'll leave it to VAR to check".
