vikingTON
Clearly the result of the day is Lowland League, South region, diddy cannon fodder Gretna 2008 swording an Ambitious and Well-Run West of Scotland club like Darvel*. * because having USB charging in the changing room is relevant, for Reasons

Naw sorry, with Tony McInally at the helm of Darvel, a lot of people are not surprised. the result for me of the day are Bo'ness United 2 Cumbernauld United 4, which is a shocker and a mention for Broomhill 0 Irvine Meadow 1 1 hour ago, virginton said: * because having USB charging in the changing room is relevant, for Reasons Edited September 17, 2023 by Bestsinceslicebread
F_T_Y
Some strange results, do teams take this competition seriously i wonder. Shocker for bo'ness and the lowland league. Exactly what I was thinking but it takes something away from the good results by surprise winners. For me, the big boys see this cup as the least important of the season so make changes in the starting line ups.
funky monkey
Ardrossan winning at Drumchapel is a cracking result. Well done to Gavin and Gowser, taking AWR places.

Thejackdaw
Def Winton for me and well done to gav and co for going up to drum chapel and winning . Normally it would be St Andrews beating Talbot but not the way Talbot's season is going..

I think that's to be expected, most of the bigger teams at WOS and LL level are in the Scottish Cup so the South Challenge Cup is probably the third most important competition at this level after the SC and league. Maybe when teams get to the last 16 or quarters it might gather momentum.

jimbaxters
Tis the part of the season where weird results appear, like Wishaw 2 Caledonian Locomotives 0. That's my result of the day. What was yours? Happy Easter by the way!
