Rory Posted August 26, 2023 Share Posted August 26, 2023 We competed well in the first half but how Debayo didn't come off T half time was beyond me. Morrison had him on toast and he was scared to tackle after the yellow card. Thought he'd definitely come off when Rice called Deveney over but just to keep us guessing, he stuck out left back at right wing back. Another game where long balls up to Sammon didn't work. For his size and frame, he doesn't win a lot in the air. Steven looked ok but didn't have many chances to show what he could do. Happy Rodden got our consolation. The young team who are only there to cause trouble at the game are an embarrassment. Go and have a fight in a field somewhere amongst yourselves. Alloa had no answer to us and couldn't cope overall, really should have scored more. Apart from one or two occasions including the goal they never laid a glove on us. Deserved 3 points.
