St. Mirren vs St. Johnstone 28/10

Recommended Posts

We've started brilliantly, St. Johnstone terribly.

We need to accept though that it's fucking St. Johnstone and they will inevitably St. Johnstone us as they almost always do.

If we can somehow defy all convention and win this one then I'm nailing my colours to the mast and calling this a genuinely special season in the offing.

Unfortunately though, it's the most stuck on, inevitable 0-1 that ever did 0-1.

I haven't really seen anything of St Johnstone this season, other than the 'highlights' on a couple of Sportscene episodes, so I have no idea what to expect.

Nicky Clark usually scores against us but I'd hope we have enough to pick up three points at home, away from home a point would be a decent result.

Both teams have a had a few weeks without a game, so difficult to predict.

Funnily enough hes highly likely to make his return from an 8 month lay off in this game.

Fairly sure you were the last team he played before getting injured, and also the last team he scored against.

I take it Alan Wardrop is somebody's Da that isnt taking the divorce well?

One look at his coupon will likely bring you to the correct conclusion about the guy.

Drey Wright out so the RWB choice could be huge, seeing as theyll be up against Tanser.

Dont know how we set up for this really. 4-3-3 seemed to kill us when we played the shite 3-4-3 that St Mirren have copied, so presumably at some point itll get found out for them too.

Mitov

Olufunwa - Gordon - Considine - Robinson

Jaiyesimi - Phillips - Sprangler - Max - May

Kane

With the wide players getting high and narrow?
