Couthy neeburs. Always been fascinated by aerial pics of grounds, especially when more than one is captured.

Benburb only just sneaks in at the top left corner.

Ibrox top, Albion Greyhound Stadium middle and White City (mainly speedway) at the bottom.

Struggling to make out a football ground in the top left, but I’ll bow to your superior knowledge, given that my knowledge of the area then is zilch.

I thought the top left was the boundary wall of Tinto Park but having checked an old map the ground was further west than the edge of the photograph.

Glasgow's lost football grounds: New Barrowfield Park, Braidfauld.

Not to be confused with Clyde F.C.'s first home. Situated in Westthorn Park in London Road, this ground played host to Bridgeton Waverley F.C. The club started out at Shawfield Park before moving to Barrowfield Park in Camlachie. A compulsary purchase order was presented to build a housing scheme of the same name in the 1930s and they moved to a 'new' Barrowfield Park from 1936 to c.1960. The new site was also subject to a housing plan but was never built upon and still contains artificial pitches. Bridgeton Waverley F.C. moved to Carntyne but went bust by 1962.

Aerial view from the 1950s showing New Springfield Park to the bottom left, New Barrowfield Park to the centre right, south of London Road. North directly across the street is New Helenslea Park and just visible to the top left of the photo is Helenvale Park located next to the bus garage.

Pinched from here.

Feelin' a wee bit left out here folks so here's Stair Park, Palmerston Park and Galabank (and just missing out Somerset) ... OK, you need a fair bit of elevation to get them all in the one picture tbf ...

PS - apologies in advance, I'm bored (obviously) ...
