diegomarahenry Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 After two weeks off from league football, everyone should be desperate to get to Somerset on Saturday. Ayr don't do home wins very often and Arbroath have just parted with their manager. 1-1 0 Quote

Will end up there of course but it's a tough 22 quid plus pints to presumably be pretty shite. Probably agree with 1-1 seeing as half the Arbroath defence Will be up doing the night feeds by the sound of it. Ayr to have more possession and shots 0 Quote
Lanky Highlander Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 2-1, a welcome home victory 0 Quote

Thereisalight.. Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 I'm missing this game so probably a good omen. 0 Quote
D'Jaffo Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 Bryden is absolutely going to be starting this. In fact I’d guess that this is how we’ll line up. Albinson, McAllister, Musonda, McGinty, Reading, Chalmers, Syla, Dempsey, Murphy, Dowds and Bryden. Would guess a draw or 1-0 Arbroath win. 0 Quote

I'd be giving Fraser all the minutes we can until the window , then out on loan , while being replaced by a new quality second striker . Assess Fraser at the end of the season . 0 Quote

It should at least hopefully work a bit better alongside Dowds, as it’ll hopefully help negate Bryden’s inability to win any physical challenges or hold the ball up. Hopefully it doesn’t take anything away from Dowds’ game though. 0 Quote
lichtie23 Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 We won’t score so the best we can hope for is a 0-0 0 Quote
1320Lichtie Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 McKenna / Gold / Dow / McIntosh all injured for this - leaving us with 15 players 2 of which are goal keepers. We have no manager and look absolutely shot of confidence…. Gaston Steele Little ToB Hamilton Jacobs Lyon Slater Stewart Hylton Bird Is the only possible team I can see playing. A team with very little creativity or pace aside from Hylton. Slater is going to have to try and attempt playing a more advanced role because he’s the only one with a wee bit of creativity about him in there. A bench of Adams, Turan, Stowe, Norey - very little to work with. It is grim 0 Quote
ayrunitedfw Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Game likely to be in any doubt? I couldny feel my feet this morning 0 Quote

Nelson Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 As much as watching Ayr at the moment is a chore, I’ll still be cheesed off when this gets postponed. 0 Quote
clashcityrocker Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Ideally, this game will get pulled due to bad weather conditions - Arbroath need time to recruit a new management team, so the game getting postponed would be a good outcome. If the game goes ahead, I would expect Arbroath to park the bus and hit Ayr on the break - we are short on numbers due to injuries and options are very limited. Would take a point if it's on offer. 0 Quote
callum-ayr Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Being off delays the inevitability of having to go to Somerset. Get the game on and it's 1 more home game ticked off. No doubt be away by 4.25pm again. 0 Quote
diegomarahenry Posted November 29, 2023 Author Posted November 29, 2023 Its to be above zero on Friday night and Saturday has to hit a peak of +3. Depends on how much sun gets to the pitch during the days and what the section in front of the main stand is like. I'd say 50/50 just now. It would mean no home game for over a month. 0 Quote
TheRoundO Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Can Ayr lend us a couple of players? They don’t have to be very good. Just to be sure we can field a full team. 0 Quote
