I like Cammy, but to me there isn't much between him and Deveney, so if he's out isn't as big a deal.

I agree there's not much between them defensively but I think Cammy edges it going forward. At least if Cammy's injured, replacing him is easy enough.

If Stevie is out, I could see either Scougs dropping back or Virtanen. Robbo could be an option but don't know how match fit he'd be. If Taggs is out, guessing it'd be one of Kev, Virtanen and Buchanan (depending on his fitness) to fill it.

Maybe, Cammy certainly has that good quality delivery (shooting from free kicks in particular), but Deveney's crossing is OK too and I like the way he runs at the defence (quick, happy to go inside as well as outside).

Not sure who is the better defender tbh. Cammy looks to be improving that aspect.

There's a preview of the game in our podcast this week if you fancy a listen before Saturday - https://waspsnest.buzzsprout.com

Think it's a pretty tall task for us to get something out the game this weekend. Full strength and with Wales still here then I might have felt differently, but can see a narrow defeat. Would be nice to at least be competitive this time though!

Good podcast as always gents

On MacIver's goal return this season his finishing has definitely improved but it's also the fact we create a lot more chances for him.

As I can name you a fair few sitters he's missed this season that reminded me of some of his outings for Alloa.

Really good podcast again thanks. Pretty much agreed with every topic you covered, only slight difference I think the Falkirk fans have is that I don't think we are in as runaway position re the league as you guys seem to think we are, however, I guess it's easier outside looking in, we've been in this position before and there is a long way to go. Agree, also that this game will be more competitive, so looking forward to it.

Any recommendations for pre match pub with decent beer that allows kids in? Don't usually have a pint before Alloa games but got some time this week. Thanks.

Can anyone recommend a pre-match pub that DOESN’T allow kids in?

Old Brewery probably best bet, they usually offer a discount if you show your match ticket but not sure if that's only for Alloa fans!
