His track record has some very good things on it bit he's far from being someone who's been good everywhere.  Leeds and Boro in particular were both dreadful spells for him and he's always thrived on being the underdog,wl which as much as i don't like Aberdeen, will rarely be the case for him in his remaining fixtures.  He can't really sit in and try to hit on the break at home to Ross County.

Should be a laugh, though he's a massive tory so hopefully it's a disaster

He took over Middlesbrough when they were 21st with 8 games to play. Kept them up, finished 10th in his only full season, then midtable again when he left the next season. Hardly dreadful. There's been one successful manager at Leeds in the past 20 years, at least he's in good company there.

Surely that isn't possible.

On 23 June 2020, Warnock was appointed manager of Championship club Middlesbrough, with the club only outside the Championship relegation zone on goal difference after 38 games. He replaced Jonathan Woodgate who was sacked from his first job in management after less than a year in charge.[57] In his first game in charge, on 27 June, Middlesbrough beat Stoke City 2–0 to climb to 19th in the league.[58] Having been 21st in the table when Warnock took over, they finished 17th in the league

Exactly the jambo’s point. Had we finished the season Hearts could have finished 17th too.

Cool, so you are just generalising then.

I was doing some digging this morning, and his Cardiff team got promoted from the Championship with the fourth lowest average possession in the league. Likewise, his success at Huddersfield was primarily based on fast transitions and counter-attacks against better teams (which was basically every other team in the Championship last season).

Robson's biggest flaw was primarily an inability to find a consistent route to success against teams not allowing us to utilise those transitions and counter-attacks as readily as we did in Europe and against stronger domestic opposition.

I would still expect someone with Warnock's longevity in the game to have that flexibility and the guile to find a way to circumvent that more often than Robson did, but it is probably one of the more reasonable concerns about his appointment.

Comes across ok apart from liking Morton.

Like us, uncle Neil is box office. Also like us he was good about 30 year ago so you can see how it works.

More importantly, whats NOT going on with Warnock's hair?

I don't understand what's going on around where sideburns should be.
