Bully Wee Villa
Β Starts tomorrow with men's football from 1400 (UK time) with Rugby Sevens from 1430. There's already a thread for footballΒ here. Always enjoy the Olympics, getting quite into sports then forgetting all about them for another four years. Particular favourites are the madison and elimination races in the cycling. I've previously enjoyed snowboard and ski cross at the Winter Olympics so looking forward to seeing how Canoe Cross goes now that it has been added. Unlike in Tokyo, the vast majority of events are on at UK-friendly times. The exception is the finals of the surfing competition as it is being held in Tahiti. Coverage will be BBC One/Two/Red Button and iPlayer as well as Eurosport/Eurosport+. I think Discovery+ has everything but it needs a subscription. ScottMc77
Also always enjoyed the Olympics. Same as yourself, I like watching and getting into some sports for a couple of weeks, to forget about them for another 4 years. But also like the usual favourites, enjoy the running heats in athletics and the swimming heats.Β Never really watched the Football at the Olympics, can't see this year being any different.

On the one hand, she's not sounding like she's disputing the footage so she absolutely deserves to miss out. On the other hand, it's pretty pathetic that someone has held on to this for almost 4 years and released it on the eve of the games.

Though she also mentions her "pupils" so wonder if she has been done for bullying, too.

Absolute shambles They told them they weren't getting picked as they had no realistic chance of returning with a medal., despite Luiten having a similar world ranking to two of the medalists at the last games. He's now on the reserve list but going by comments he made at the weekend he will be telling them to stick it if the call comes. Ray Patterson
Similar story happening in the cycling - Urska Zigart is Slovenia's best road rider but was snubbed for selection. Much to the uproar of her boyfriend and Tour de France winner Tadej Pogacar - who has now pulled out of the squad citing tiredness from the Tour (which he absolutely dominated) - suspect that might be political. Elsewhere, in the Village the "anti-sex" beds are being panned by the athletes for being incredibly uncomfortable. Fuctifano
I'm absolutely sure that lassie battering f**k out of a horse is the first time she's done it and totally not the first time it's been caught on camera.

It does not look good for just about any of the Dutch involved in the story. Only served 1 year of his 4 year sentence for flying to another country to rape a 12 year old numerous times. It seems mental they feel that thisΒ volleyball playerΒ is worth probably the worst press you could get.Β
