I sympathise with him to a degree because he has been hung out to dry by the board in terms of backing. But he also wanted to extend or sign several of the players who either aren't good enough or who have a poor injury record. Also his style of play is abysmal and there's nothing to suggest that will ever change. Falkirk have undoubtedly come a long way since that league 1 season whereas we've largely stagnated/arguably become worse. it'll be intriguing to see if that's reflected on Saturday. The Pars fan on the Falkirk Daft podcast said you guys have shifted nearly 4,000 season tickets already, so even if you only have 1,000 walk ups that's still a very decent home crowd, especially given the turmoil within the club at the moment. For the Falkirk end we have about 200 tickets left in the newly released section, then if these sell, its down to the front 4 rows to be released only. In terms of the debate on Falkirk fans expecting a win, the only reason I am thinking this is based largely on the content I've been reading on the Pars thread! TBF, while that record is abysmal and was a real sore point, there was maybe 1 or 2 games that Raith really ran away with it, and the rest of those games there wasn't much in it save for a moment or two of real quality that made the difference. I stand by what I've said before. Regardless of the result, we WILL be poor to watch. Doesn't mean we can't shitfest it a bit and eek out a point or 3, just means a loss is far more likely.
