You definitely did notice him. Wouldn’t call it tragic, we’re only having a laugh. Bit of a stretch to say poor finishing, he had a shot from about 25 yards out and I genuinely can’t remember the other shot you’re going on about. He wasn’t exactly outstanding but attacking players at this level never are every game of the season. It’s not as if we’ve made a cartoon image with your manager and lots of witty puns about your players. That would be tragic!

Was wanting to bet anyone that we'd be losing at half time and would have to send Agyeman on for Oliver to chase the game. Wish I'd taken the bet His pass for the first goal was superb. Split the defence and the perfect weight to give the keeper a decision to make.

Never seen anything like it and completely ineffective. That was a cracker that landed right on top of Grahams head. Bet it looks good on the training pitch though.

Shodwall cat
Was quietly confident that we'd get the three points even with a few important players missing as I simply hadn't seen anything from Ayr to frighten us this season. Competent display but we've played better but never really needed to today. Saw someone on the Ayr thread the other day saying watret was the best right back in the league . Come on he's not a patch on big keelan Adams who again showed he is a rolls Royce of a player. He and Calvin kept rus quiet all game whilst watret got torn a new one by our backup left winger. Clear for all to see today that despite a smaller budget mcglynn has produced a far better squad than the media darling has. Anyone that signs shite like Jake Hastie is clearly struggling . Anyway, I'm going to this. Last time I was at Grangemouth was a pishy cup game back when Falkirk Football Club hadn't been Ayr's bitches for a solid six years running, and won handily on the day. 1-0 the Super, Rus to get hatcheted down in the box by these League One hammer throwers for Ayr's customary penalty. Hopefully Henderson will take five touches to put it in. Do they check bags at this 200,000 capacity ground these days? Not to pick on any of the quoted posters, but just to point out the sort of banter that went back and forth before the game, which maybe explains why the absolute no show by Marco Rus is supplying us with a healthy bit of point and laugh. Iv also taken the liberty of including some "Watret" patter, who ironically with Finn Yeats coming on, wasn't even the second best right back on the park
FernandosMonobrow
Surprised by just how straight forward that was. Although I was even more surprised by the guy a handful of rows behind me who absolutely had it in for Ethan Ross every time he touched the ball. Pretty sure I could hear his teeth grind when the second went in.
ShaggerG
That was quite easy. I felt that Graham, Hendo and Spencer were absolutely outstanding. The rest were just very very good!
bridge of allan bairn
After seeing the starting 11 before the game was really happy. Wished we'd gone with that more balanced side last week. Pleasing to comfortably beat the side that have been leading the league all season. Was keen to see rus and watret in the flesh and was genuinely surprised at how poor they were today, but they were up against better opposition than most in this league in Spencer and Ross. Appreciate Ayr had significant injuries but not to forget we are without our top scorer (Morrison), our first pick striker (McIver) and our first pick centre halfs and captain (Donaldson and Lang). Great to see Nesbitt back, really makes us tick. Graham and Henderson is a very formidable pairing for this league. Adams was superb again. We missed a lot of chances again which thankfully didn't bite us today. This league is weird in that there is no team with an outstanding goal scorer (don't think Brian Graham will score as many this season). Great we create so much. Still to see Livingston on Tuesday night but absolutely nothing I have seen to fear in this league despite what the fans of every other club in it were saying about us prior to a ball being kicked. Great to see 6000 home fans selling out our home end.

Him being in that line of 3 just moves the whole game 10 yards further up the pitch. We're more likely to win possession higher up, we're more likely to retain it, and we're more likely to create something.
