^^^^ Shat it and said nothing

It was actually one of those really embarrassing moments (for my wife anyway) where she physically hauled me away from the desk as I was stood waiting for an answer whilst she gawped at me.

Some lazy arsehole at my work keeps waiting til about 15 minutes before we finish our shift to ask for a lift home. It's not massively inconvenient, only adds 5-10 minutes onto my journey time. However, nobody is ever in my car apart from me, so I always have a heap of CD's on the passenger seat that I have to put onto the back seat whenever I give him a lift.
The back seat is a shallower angle than the front passenger seat meaning if I as much as touch the brake they and up sliding off the seat and I end up with CD's in the footwell. Raging.

Buy a pair of boots,

Wear boots,

Shoebox that boots come in placed in footwell of passenger seat will be a handy container for your CDs, stacked neatly.

(do boots still come in a shoebox or is it called a Bootbox ?)

Use new boots to administer the required kick in the pie.

Went in to my new place of employment to begin the screening process, sat and waited for over half an hour then someone came out, took a photocopy of my passport and driving licence and said thanks for coming in.

Then on my way back to the flat the guy in greggs gave me the wrong thing.

Something that wasn't greasy?

Is Dr Pepper still sold anywhere in the world? I don't think I have even seen or heard of it since those annoying adverts were on around the year 2000.

Yes, I bought a bottle yesterday. I'm sure it's not as good as it used to be. See also: lilt.

I'm finding BBCs fawning over the 'lionesses' to be a bit nauseating. The BBC is supposed to represent the whole of the U.K. But on the BBC sport website and media almost all the focus is on the England team with very little dedicated to the Scottish team (almost all is only featured in the Scotland specific pages which won't give them the same exposure).

I've layed cables that could act better than him.

He was in The Long Good Friday (1980 London gangster flick starring most people from every British TV show you've ever seen). Hard not to let out a "GET IN!" when he gets brutally murdered with a bottle. Spoiler, sorry.

Their report on the lunchtime news opened with "There's something funny about these Euro football championships - for a start, Scotland are here".

I wanted to be raging, but actually found it quite funny.

Slightly yes, also better than the long boring films about the guy that got stuck in a cave then somehow got out again, normally starring Charlton Heston.

The one with James Franco is good though. Although it's basically a reboot of the ones Eddie Murphy did.

Delivery companies.

Ordered a fridge 2 weeks ago which was due to be installed today. Text yesterday to say it would be delivered between 2 and 6, with a link to a tracker which has been updating all day, moving back and forward between 4.30-6.30 and 5-7.

Phone call at 5.55pm to say they had forgotten to load the fucker onto the truck this morning.

At least they didn't claim they knocked on the door and you weren't in.
