the Granton area in Edinburgh is terrible for dog shit. I've taken to walking on the roads at night as it is inevitable that I'll step on the result of some junkie laziness. only good thing with the recent cold snap is most the dog shite is frozen therefor not a hazard. between the college and Javitz the other week I stood on two in the middle of the pavement and when using a some weeds to clean myself stood on another. Hard to police this, although if caught there should be a 3 strikes and you are banned from having dogs for a period of time. How someone can think its ok to let their dog leave a big steaming toley in the middle of a path begs belief.

Are you some sort of shite detector?

Took the car to peter vardy Vauxhall today (got a letter from Vauxhall saying there could be a handbrake issue with certain models of corsas between 2007-2009), and when I went to collect it, I was told there were "at least 4 things needing fixed ASAP", including a new gasket, and there was water in the oil tank. Phoned the mechanic that I use, he just laughed. Took it up to him to be on the safe side, the gasket is fine, and the "water" in the oil tank was condensation. Peter vardy - shower of liars trying to get money for work that doesn't even need done.

If you carried disposable gloves you could’ve flung the frozen jobby at a window and got a chase.

Just saying likes.

Warburtons and lashing of lurpak for ya maw’s broth

I don't mean to besmirch the cooking abilities of fellow PnBers, but if butcher-bought steak pie is better than home-made, you're doing it wrong.

Maybe your butcher is shite.

The Buffalo Farm Aberdeen Angus pies I had for New Year were good enough. When I did make steak pies, some sausages went in there. It’s been a while since I made one, so I’d need to taste test it against Buffalo Farm’s efforts.

I won't be back at a professional dealership when my current finance deal finishes due to this sort of thing.

Bought a car from Glenrothes SEAT this time last year and some of the guff they've spouted over the past year has been embarrassing. I've had it in half a dozen times since I bought it and been quoted this that and everything for new parts. Took it to a garage next to my work (VW specialists) and they said the car was fine and potential repairs were minimum fuss costing peanuts. b*****ds at the dealership tried to do a puncture repair and f****d the tyre. Had to get a new one that they tried to charge me for ! Reported my tread depths as a few mm less than what they actually were too...
