A Post-It reminding yourself to delete your history would be worse than a pop-up, IMO. That's how they caught Glitter. As far as I know.

Thank Christ I won't be doing much in the way of kids' clothes.

Weird that I'm not getting pictures of hunky dudes as well, thinking about it; I've been looking up mens clothes too. Those ad bots are good.

I've been having to look up women's dresses at work a lot lately. I know how that scans and I don't give a f**k, I'm too tired to think of a better way of phrasing it.

The PTTGOMN is that my work browser is now bringing up constant tailored ads for skimpy ladies' clothes, and I'm starting to get paranoid that one of my bosses will see and think I'm ripping the heid aff during my lunch breaks which, and I cannot stress this enough, is something that has never happened.

I know I can clear my cookies and all that stuff, but then I have to go back to looking up the same stuff and the ads will come back. To make matters worse, apparently the CEO is going to stop by unannounced at some point to see what I do, because I've been a good boy lately, so I've been warned to keep my nose clean. I'm frankly concerned that somehow I've ended up in some shitty sitcom; I can see where the plot's going, and I'm not happy about it.

NSFW example pic below, before I GTF.

A cropped version of this picture for Lovehoney seems particularly popular with the ad bots.

The photoshopping just makes it seem more obscene, not less. It's like extraordinarily niche porn.

They're less powerful but they're also designed to spend an hour and a half at it. The house is much cleaner as a result. You do still need to do a proper hoover but like once a month maybe for the bits the robovac can't get to.

I'd never go back to not having one now.

This is the big stumbling block for me in purchasing one. I'm all for any machine, from dishwasher to garden sprinkler, that does jobs I can't be arsed with. The idea of Mrs WRK spending days re-arranging the furniture "to make it easier for (insert cute nick-name for machine here) to get round", followed by her following the fucking thing round to find the miniscule area it's missed*? Nah, I'm out.

*Not that she does that when I do the hoovering. No, not at all. The very idea..

That's at least half a dozen "news" reports about Liverpool getting presented with the Premier League trophy on BBC Radio Ulster in the last hour, I hope to f*** the Nolan Show doesn't continue with this shite.

Are they still together?  Never knew. Banging tunes back in the 70s.

Been beavering away for an hour now at my desk after a week off. Just the 1720 more emails to go..

Just be like that mad wummin in the Work Colleagues thread, and only deal with the ones that have come in while you've actually been  on shift.

I like the story that, when he took his PC in to PC World for fixing, there was a folder called "My Gang" on the desktop. Made me chuckle, that.

Apparently those robovac thingies can't tell if a pet has shat on the carpet and do a marvellous job of spreading it.

Or maybe, ye know, house-train your pets?

I'd be inclined to give the area aquick visual check before letting a machine loose on it - I have too much experience of dismantling various vacuums to disentangle string/remove lego, etc. from hose/and yes, on one memorable occasion, clean catshit. And that's with Mrs WRK steering.

Does anyone who uses a robovac have a good affordable one? I like a clean house but I can be a lazy sod with the more regular cleaning, your dusting and vacuuming. The only robo fellas I've seen were the roombas which seem to start at 750 odd

Eufy do good ones for about 200 quid

I was talking about this in another thread actually. I have the slim high suction Eufy, it's honestly brilliant. I think you can get the one I have now with the app that let's you plot it's cleaning area. Mine has even fallen down a full flight of stairs and still works, supposed to have a drop sensor but I think it got too tired.  Occasionally I still hoover upstairs but very rarely needs it.

It would be cheaper to exploit an illegal immigrant or someone equally disadvantaged. They would also do upsatairs.

I've got some numbers if you're interested.
